Aston Villa star Jack Grealish was shockingly assaulted by a Birmingham City supporter during the Second City derby at St Andrew’s.In the early stages of the match a fan made his way onto the pitch and struck Grealish around the head, leading to players and stewards confronting him before he was hauled off.1

The unsuspecting Grealish was assaulted from behind

The man has since been arrested by West Midlands Police, and Birmingham have condemned the attack as ‘deplorable and disgusting’.It is believed the club will also personally apologise to Grealish for their supporter’s actions.
